Hellier Langston were tasked with assisting the operations team at Zehnder to develop their requirements for a new modern production facility. To identify suitable properties/ locations and negotiate suitable lease terms to enable the facility to be developed and operational to tie in with their lease expiry on their current facility.

We started working with the client in developing an initial high level scope of their requirements, in terms of location, size of property and specification, which would could be refined as the project and negotiations progressed.
Hellier Langston carried out a search of suitable properties/ development sites within a 20 mile radius of their Lenham site.
Having identified the new development at Loc8 (junction 8 of the M20, close to Maidstone) as the preferred option, we then assisted Zehnder in the leasehold negotiations to achieve favourable terms negotiations. Following on from this, with site currently under construction, advice was given on how the property could be adapted to suit Zehnder’s needs.
We supported Zehnder and their lawyers through the process of completing the Agreement to Lease and, once completion of the unit had taken place, completion of the lease. Our building consultancy team also provided advice on their exit from the Lenham facility and the required alterations to the new premises.
