Hellier Langston are pleased to have completed on the sale of Unit 9 East Horton Business Park, Knowle Lane, Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire, which marks the final disposal of the 15 units constructed.

Acting on behalf of Parsons Construction, Hellier Langston were brought in to advise on and appraise the 30,000 sq. ft. proposed scheme. Drawing on our expertise within the industrial sector and marketing campaign experience for other new estates, we provided the recommendation for construction to commence on a speculative basis given low availability, lack of new supply as well as robust sentiment within the industrial sector.

The disposals included 8 units sold to owner occupiers (including SIPPs), 4 units sold to investors with vacant possession and 3 units let, one of which included an Agreement for Lease and schedule of Landlord Works to create a fully fitted office.

The end of the marketing campaign draws a close to Parson Construction’s development within the site having previously completed phase 1 being a single block of four offices extending to 12,000 sq. ft. built and disposed of in 2019 as well as the adjacent 2.75 acre site sold to Bellway following the grant of planning permission for a 34 unit residential scheme.

East Horton Business Park has quickly become a thriving business park following completion of its successful mission to deliver an enviable, high quality, sustainable development, meeting the needs for a wide range of sectors, bringing with it additional employment for the area.
