A fourth generation car service, MOT and repair business has expanded within the town of Bishops
Waltham, Southampton, acquiring 33 Claylands Road, a detached industrial unit on a long term
leasehold basis. The unit extends to 4,300 sq. ft. and benefits from a generous yard/forecourt area
plus multiple loading doors for vehicular access.
W J Heard Motor Repairs began trading in 1978 and was started by the current owner’s great
grandfather, having occupied a site on Shore Lane for the duration of its history. Managing
Director Mark Fuller commented:
“Hellier Langston have been exceptional to deal with and have helped every step of the way. We
needed more space and Claylands Road provides us with that. It also gives customers old and
new the option of where to drop their vehicle off with the Shore Lane site still open and staying
open! I hope to continue for many years to come and with my children following behind and now
working for the business. We hope to be in the village for many many years to come.”
Hellier Langston director Patrick Mattison said ‘It’s been a pleasure working with Mark and his
company that has so much heritage within the town. There will no doubt be a lot of people pleased
to see the company’s continued success.’
